Position: President-Founder

A goal driven, solution-focused and accomplished Doctor of Occupational Therapy-Pediatrics offering 25 years of experience implementing direct services to children and families within rural settings. Monika has achieved the highest level of doctorate education within the OT profession. Her passion is working with children and families within rural, border town settings in hopes to make a difference in their lives. Noteworthy projects that have been implemented at Gadsden Elementary School District #32 include: teaching staff, parents and community at large to acquire a foundation of how Occupational Therapy services can help children with special needs. Noteworthy projects includes: developing and implementing after school Life Skills programs, Sprinkle, Splash, ~n~ Swim program for special needs children and numerous workshops encompassing vision, sensory awareness, transition from preschool to kinder and many ‘ Make ~n~ Take’ projects. In her down time, she enjoys working in her Medicine Wheel Garden, hiking/trail walking, tent camping, reading, and traveling to new destinations. She is an avid animal lover and is known to care for rescued cats and dogs.
